imaginary jobs I would be so good at

1. Assessing the believability of fake Southern accents in television and movies
2. Picking out the best shades of red nail polish
3. Ironing things until I feel less nervous
4. Using my fancy education to analyze mass-market paperbacks
5. Betting on the horses with the best names
6. Tchotchke curator
7. Proofreading menus at ethnic restaurants
8. Cat namer
9. Karaoke consultant
10. Professional Balderdash

I have always wanted to do #7.

That sounds dirty.

Also, I loved your previous post and I love that you are blogging more regularly again. I think your next order of business needs to be becoming (more) self-promotional and get more people to read this blog so that the masses will understand what good blog writing looks like.

Or you can do what is probably more characteristic of you and keep releasing these exquisite tastes of your thoughts to those of us diehards who may or may not check every other day to see if you have written again.

I would be good at pointing out other people's errors to cover up my personal shortcomings.

You skipped #8, by the way...

Thanks, KP. Love you, mean it!

How could I forget #8? That's the job I want the most.
